Public Scholarship and
Journal Articles
My research employs critical perspectives to explore the relationship between education and the experiences of linguistically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse children and their families through peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and collaborative projects. As a professor at New York University, I focus on early childhood education, urban education, teacher education, and immigration studies. My work aims to uncover and address how institutional practices in U.S. education create barriers for marginalized children and families, while developing concrete solutions to better meet their educational needs.
